Ted Deitz

GIS Analyst

Ted Deitz is a GIS Analyst who primarily works on the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Risk MAP program. Previously, Ted worked at The Polis Center starting in May of 2023 as an intern for both the Community Informatics and Geoinformatics teams. He has also previously worked for the Indiana Brownfields Program, United States Geological Survey, and the Center for Research on Inclusion and Social Policy (CRISP) at the IU Public Policy Institute. Ted completed his B.A. in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Indianapolis and his Master of Public Health in Public Health Informatics from the IU Fairbanks School of Public Health. He is also an FAA Part 107 Licensed UAS Pilot and holds the Certified in Public Health (CPH) credential.
