The Polis Center at IUPUI has named Marianne Cardwell, PMP, GISP, CSM its GIS Project Coordinator. In this role, she will support a variety of projects that use geospatial data and technologies on behalf of Polis’ partner communities and foster relationships within those communities to cultivate new project opportunities.
“I am thrilled to become part of The Polis Center team. With my background in GIS, application development, and project management, I hope to continue the Center’s excellent work in GIS and data analytics and help it expand its use into new areas,” said Cardwell.
Prior to joining Polis, she was aviation geospatial project manager for Woolpert. Cardwell earned her BS degree in geography from Michigan State University and MS degree in geographic and cartographic sciences from George Mason University.
